So I tried out paint SAI for this tutorial and it was amazing! Though I had to finish up my drawing in GIMP because I couldn't find some tools in SAI.
Does SAI have an alpha to select tool to select the border of a layer? Does it also have a color to transparency button? I use that to get rid of all the white in the lineart layer. I also couldn't find a blur tool so just used the watercolor brush.

Thank you very much. This was an amazing tutorial. =D

I'm kind of confused, what is the difference between the overlay and multiply layers? Like, what does each one do exactly?

You should actually try them yourself to understand better but basically, with the overlay layer you can "color" your lineart (as if you used different colored pencils to draw them) and with the multiply layer you give the drawing the real coloring. This kind of tecnique, though, works better with a traditional lineart.
